Sauces

Our sauces are a great way to add extra flavour onto our delicious range of pasta. Our famous sauces are available fresh or frozen. 

Bolognese

Size: 500 GR and 5 L

Bolognese sauce, known in Italian as ragù alla bolognese, is a meat-based sauce originating from Bologna, Italy.  In Italian cuisine, it is customarily used to dress "tagliatelle al ragù" and to prepare "lasagne alla bolognese".  In the absence of tagliatelle, it can also be used with other broad, flat pasta shapes, such as spaghetti, pappardelle or fettuccine, or with short tube shapes, such as rigatoni or penne.

Cream & Mushroom

Size: 500 GR and 5 L

This sauce is made from slices of mushrooms slowly simmered with fresh garlic, onions, shallots, and black pepper.  This sauce is mainly used with both plain and filled pasta; fettuccine, rigatoni, penne and pappardelle.  Filled pasta such as tortellini, ravioli, panzotti, sorrentino, raviolone and gnocchi.  This sauce is rich in flavour and has a great texture.

Boscaiola

Size: 500 GR and 5 L

This sauce is made from slices of mushrooms slowly simmered with fresh garlic, onions, shallots, bacon rashers and black pepper.  This sauce is mainly used with fettuccine, rigatoni, penne and pappardelle.  This sauce is rich in flavour and has a great texture. Both plain (as mentioned above) and filled pasta such as beef, chicken tortellini, ravioli, panzotti, sorrentino, raviolone and gnocchi go great with this sauce.

Tomato & Basil

Size: 500 GR and 5 L

This sauce is made with tomatoes, savoury vegetables and other seasonings. Traditional red Italian sauce mixed with finely chopped basil. This sauce is mainly used with both plain and filled pasta; fettuccine, rigatoni, penne and pappardelle.  Filled pasta such as tortellini, ravioli, panzotti, sorrentino and raviolone and gnocchi. This sauce is rich in flavour and has a great texture.

Cream & Sun-dried Tomatoes

Size: 500 GR and 5 L

This one of a kind sauce is made from slices of sun-dried tomatoes slowly simmered with fresh onions. This sauce is mainly used with both plain and filled pasta; fettuccine, rigatoni, penne and pappardelle. Filled pasta such as tortellini, ravioli, panzotti, sorrentino, raviolone and gnocchi. This sauce is rich in flavour and has a great texture.

Napolitana

Size: 500 GR and 5 L

This sauce is made with tomatoes, savoury vegetables and other seasonings. Traditional red Italian sauce that is used with all kinds of pasta. This sauce is mainly used with both plain and filled pasta; fettuccine, rigatoni, penne and pappardelle. Filled pasta such as tortellini, ravioli, panzotti, sorrentino, raviolone and even gnocchi.  This sauce is rich in flavour and has a great texture. It can also be used as a pizza topping.
